Imazapyr
Imazapyr is a selective shoreline-emergent herbicide effective on cattails, torpedograss, alligator weed, and woody invasives. Long soil residual (6+ months) means re-establishment of natives in the treated zone is delayed. Useful for creating a dock or boat-ramp clearing that stays open through a season; problematic if the goal is rapid native recovery.
