Glyphosate
Also known as: Rodeo, AquaMaster
Glyphosate is a non-selective systemic herbicide. Aquatic-labeled formulations (Rodeo, AquaMaster) are used for emergent and floating aquatic invasives — water hyacinth, water lettuce, cattails, torpedograss. Foliar contact only, so coverage is critical; underspray fails. Does not work on submerged vegetation because foliage is below the waterline. Non-selective means it damages native emergents along with invasives if applied broadly.
